Artists Statement

About the Artist

Painting is something I have done all my life from the age of 4, when my parents handed me some crayons and some paper and encouraged me to draw. I remember how I loved it even then. These are the values I have lived by since then. I also loved putting new creative ideas and exploring new thoughts into my work of art. I have the passion for drawing people and animals. Lots of things inspire me, like seeing something in a magazine, taking walks or even picking a book to read. I always carry with me a notebook to write down the ideas.

My grandfather was a painter himself but he died very young. I can remember being in his studio and I felt like I belonged there. But what I do remember about him is his passion and the attention he gave each piece of work. It gave me the inspiration to put my thoughts and emotions to express myself through art and the way I see the world today.
